As many of you know, I began my career in photography years ago with a focus on studio portraiture. I favored a medium format camera and created mostly black and white portraits of children and pregnant mamas. My work has evolved since then but I thought it would be fun to offer a studio portraiture session focused on capturing classic portraits your kiddos (not classic in a boring way, just simply them and all of their charachter). I’ll have simple black and white backgrounds, a few different seating options, and I’ll shoot in both digital and medium format film formats. You’ll receive the normal 40 digital images and in addition you’ll receive 5 black and white images taken with medium format film and printed on 5×7 archival paper.
These sessions will take place at a Seattle Studio. Styling support and use of my client closet is available.
Sessions will take place rain or shine (I offer a reschedule option for rain more than a sprinkle when possible) and the fee is non-refundable.
