“No matter how frequently we came, when we arrived, my grandparents acted as if we had been away one hundred years.” -Author James Vescovi
When I was a child I was fortunate to spend much of my summers with my grandparents. We camped, fished all day, sang, swam, gardened, and simply enjoyed time together. I remember feeling so important, valued, and understood when I was with them. They followed my pace, delighted in my ideas, and took the time to “stop to smell the roses” in a way that busy parents often can’t. They have since passed, but I cherish every memory and hope I never forget the feeling of being loved by them.
I’m so incredibly grateful that my children get to experience this unconditional love and presence with their grandparents. When my daughter opens the door to welcome them for a visit, her face lights up and I can tell that she feels absolutely adored.
Capturing this unique relationship is where my heart is, and I would be so honored to capture these memories for your family to treasure for generations to come!
